I am the luckiest man alive. During he past couple of weeks life has been pretty gruelling for Kerry and I. Albert, who is amazing, is also not sleeping very much and on top of it all is teething. Kerry is a super star by tking care of him most of the night (if not all the night) when I am working. Now dont get me wrong, Kerry is working full time as well, but her day starts a lot later than mine at the moment.
The job I am currently on sees me out of the house for 15 hours a day and is a long commute and very tiring. The days are not only long but quite stressful as well with deadlines and organising 1 if not 2 other analysts on site, as well as trying to keep an eye on the asbestos strippers as well.
So as I was saying I am the luckiest person alive, along with everything else Kerry had going on she managed to clear an evening for the pair of us. Last Saturday, we headed off to stay at Maison Talbooth, a hotel belonging to Pride of Britains Hotels and was Hotel of the year 2010. It is very luxurious and is gob smackingly mazingly beautiful. We picked there to stay as it offers free car service to Le Talbooth, our favourite restaurant where we headed to eat on the Saturday night. Champagne flowed and fine food as well... It was amazing. We spent the Saturday afternoon sat around the pool at the hotel and enjoying the pool bar. I can not reccomend this hotel and restaurant enough.
I just wanted to take this oppertunity to say a big thank you to Kerry for everything she has done and does do for me, it is totally appreciated, more than she will ever realise. I love you.
